Atomicgirl is what Pauline Rose Galias uses as her online name. Also known as Peachy in real life, this girl has had quite a number of ‘nicknames’ given to her by friends.

Her first job was as a call center agent in Ayala. She felt like an answering machine so she decided that it was not for her after a year and a half. Her second job was as a web marketing analyst and she later on became a content writer. That office closed last June 2008. She has been unemployed for two months after that. She then worked the graveyard shift as an SEO specialist for a month and a half and believes that in just one week, her sleeping habits have totally changed because of that.

She mainly thrives on freelance jobs that come her way, thus the tagline of this blog. She accepts freelance writing gigs and also does SEO work. Working at home was one of the things she did during that idle time and it has been difficult for her at first but she has come to love the fact that she can work any time she wants to. Peachy would greatly appreciate any freelance jobs that you could give her. The moolah helps her a lot in financing most of her kid’s daily needs. She has celebrated her first year of being a freelance SEO copywriter/analyst this October. Woohoo!

A single mom. That’s what she is too. She is the mother of a very talkative boy named James Nicholas Sky who has turned four last September while she was stranded in NAIA because of Typhoon Ondoy. She simply adores this little tot of hers and hopes that he turns out just fine in the future. Currently, Sky is this chubby boy who talks a lot, asks a lot of questions, loves books, and loves watching TV commercials. Oh, he is also now in nursery school. Peachy believes that Sky was sent to her so that she could have some focus in her life – something that she was lacking before.

Peachy was born in Legazpi City and has been staring at the Mayon Volcano for the most part of her life. She also spent almost six years in Metro Manila. Four were spent studying in the University of the Philippines – Diliman, four months bumming about there after graduating with a BA Communication Research degree, and the rest were in Pasay City. She misses the life she had back in college and misses the friends she made there. She goes to Manila yearly and just spends her time watching TV in the house she lived in back in college. She seldom goes out when she is in Manila and that is a total opposite of her life here in Legazpi City.

Peachy is not all just about work. She loves having fun. She would often be found playing with her computer, reading books, spending time with her son, laughing herself out, and tinkering with various odds and ends. She also loves to travel and is proud that she has been able to fulfill one of her resolutions this year which was to go to two new places. She is also proud of the friends she has made, friends she has found, and the friends that she has kept. Yeah, she also loves meeting people.

Johnny Depp and David Cook are two guys that serve as her inspiration. Well, that is aside from her son. She loves David Cook because he just is awesome when he is performing and she believes that he is a nice guy. As for Johnny Depp, Peachy believes that she would, someday, find the Johnny Depp of her life. See, she thinks that Johnny is the kind of guy who has got a lot of mystery and you would have to know him well to know more about who he is. That is the kind of guy that she likes – somebody with mystery, and somebody with whom she will be challenged (yes, she loves challenges as well as murders, mysteries, and CSI).

Peachy is a dreamer and wants a lot of things and wants to do a lot of things. She currently wants to have her own home, a real good SEO project, a new set of wardrobe, a new computer, a dSLR, a motorcycle, and a car. She also wants to travel to various places, learn how to play the drums, learn how to drive a motorcycle and a car, and find her Johnny Depp.
