The last two weeks of 2008 has been quite a busy one for me. See, that is the time when friends and family come home for the holidays and thus it is also the time to get together and catch up on each other. And that is how I spent the last two weeks of last year and it was no doubt one of the most fun holidays that I’ve had.

I’ve had reunions of various sorts. There were some impromptu reunions and there were some which have been really planned. I’ve also spent time with family. I’ve also spent time with friends. It has also been time for me to reflect and see just what I did for the past year. I find it really interesting that when looking back at the year, it seems like so much has happened. Well, indeed, much has happened in 2008 for me and it has been a roller coaster ride of some sort.

During some hours when I was not ‘required’ to attend some reunion or gathering, I would take that time to just relax and feel all the stress from the year fade out. My son and I would choose some disc and watch it over my computer. I did get to watch Seven Pounds, Four Christmases, How I Met Your Mother, and Heroes. If only most days were like that… But of course we gotta go back to reality and that means we gotta work. So here I am back to working. But I sure did have fun during those days off.
