I guess my brain is already fried. Almost toast, I think. And it’s because of the heat.

The sun’s just shining too brightly now. Most people will say it’s global warming. A couple of my friends will say that it’s called summer. Whatever. It’s still hot. And summer or global warming or not, I can’t concentrate when it’s too hot.

I used to hate the cold. But several years ago, I’ve decided that the cold is far better for me. Hey, I can wear almost any kind of clothing. And all those cool jackets that I have, I can wear them. And now that the sun’s shining too brightly, I miss the cold. A lot.

Let me tell you just how hot it is right now. I took several ice cubes, placed them inside a glass and poured some pineapple juice in it. What happened? Well, in a few minutes, I didn’t see the ice cubes anymore. And there did not seem to be any kind of difference with the temperature of the juice.

Another thing. I was in the bathroom of a friend’s house. While most of you may think that the bathroom is oftentimes the best place to hang out in when it’s hot, then think again. This bathroom’s temperature is just like any other one. But stay inside it for some time and you will find yourself sweating tons. I am not a heavy sweater but beads of perspiration were dropping like rain. That does not happen to me often even when I am already panting my lungs out. That just happened today.

For the past hour, I have been noticing that there have been flashes of lighting and some claps of thunder. My electric fan’s been at full blast and it’s been like that for hours already. I just can’t seem to find any cool temperature around here. And with the lighting and thunder, I am thinking that maybe it will rain hard. But it’s almost 3:30am already and still no rain. Oh well. There’s always tomorrow.

But right now, I have to deal with a fried brain. And strong doses of migraine.
