An Open Letter To All Search Engine Marketing Conference in Legazpi City Participants
Dear all,
It is a total shame that I was unable to join you for the Search Engine Marketing Conference that was held at the Aquinas University’s Daragang Magayon Hall here in Legazpi City. I know I was scheduled for a talk on Effective Copywriting on Friday afternoon but because of writhing pain in my abdomen (which I would spare you the details), I was unable to do so. That should’ve been my first time to speak to such a huge audience (well, much larger than the trainings and seminars I’ve done back with my ex-colleagues at US Auto Parts).

I was prepared for everything but because of that really bad timing that my stomach decided to act up, I was unable to be there. I really wanted to be there and meet everybody who were attending. It also would’ve been great to meet some of the best people from the SEM industry – Janette Toral, Gregory Kittelson, Hans Alfred Koch, Rodion Herrera, Michael Thomas McCullough, and Gary Viray. But I guess I would have to deal with the fact that I wasn’t able to and that maybe it was not yet time to meet them. It sure would have been fun though. After all, this is the first event in the SEM industry that was held here in Bicol that I know of since I’ve been in the industry. But well, that’s that. It’s happened. And I wasn’t there. *sob*
I’ve been told that maybe next year, there’ll be another one. And I’m thinking I’ll probably not be invited anymore to speak but I’ll still be making my way there – as one of the audience. It’ll be cool to learn more.
And so to all who’re probably wondering who Pauline Rose Galias is with the powerpoint presentation you have in your kits, that’s me. I’m the one who prepared for the whole talk but just fell short of doing so. But if you have any questions regarding that powerpoint presentation, you can drop me a comment here or send me an email to peachy underscore upd at yahoo dot com. Yeah. You know what to do. And I’ll answer them for you.
Thanks to the organizers of the Search Engine Marketing Conference though for a job well done and for the opportunity to be one of the speakers. I do apologize for that and I blame my stomach. But I guess it was a blessing in disguise because I went for a check up and I was told of my condition. So there. It was just wrong timing I guess. Unless you would’ve wanted to see me talking for an hour or so on effective copywriting while I was writhing in pain. That would’ve been a ball. Oh well.
I’ll see you all soon in the next SEM Bicol event. I hope one happens soon. And then I’ll probably meet you there.
Pauline Rose Galias

Hi Janette, thanks for dropping by.
I just need to take care of what I eat right now or else I get more gallstone attacks. But I’m fine and just about as normal can get right now. Just no more or those attacks.
See you next time!
