I caught the flu. And I think it must be because of the extreme heat. And while I am suffering from a high body temperature and aching joints coupled with a room that is not helping cool me down, tasks that are waiting for me, lots of meds, lots of water, and a craving for Selecta Quezo Real, I got lots of free time with nothing to do. Well, a lot of things to do. I just do not have the energy to do stuff.

So I resorted to watching television and DVDs and just doing some plain thinking. Oh I also did some internet surfing as well. And there are some interesting thoughts that I just want to list down here. Bear with me. I’m sick.

1. I want to stop smoking. It’s just that I think that it a habit and I really am not that happy when I smoke. But it’s something I want. I’m not sure though if I can make it.

2. I bought an X-Men animated series *pirated* DVD and it is one thing that I have been watching during the hours that I am awake. When I bought it, I expected it to have the same quality as the animations we see today. I was wrong. I guess this series was pretty good back when I was a kid.

3. I could have said yes but I didn’t. I was not afraid of what you would say. I was afraid of what you were to think of me. Though I know what you would say, I never really could know your real and honest thoughts.

4. When I watch American Idol, I really hate listening to Paula Abdul. She’s just not that reliable. I’d rather listen to Kara DioGuardi, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson. Even listen to Ryan Seacrest. Just not Paula Abdul. And I don’t why the audience constantly boos Simon when in fact he’s telling his opinion. It may be nasty at times but he certainly does hit the spot.

5. I am rooting for Adam Lambert still. Plus that Alison girl. Reminds me much of that rock ‘n roll nurse from last season who rides a big motorcycle. Her name eludes me right now.

6. I love Rogue and I totally adore Gambit (Remy LeBou). I hated Wolverine before but I totally understand now why he acts like that.

7. I am super psyched to see Gambit in the movie.

8. I want to go to the beach with friends.

9. I wanna go bowling as well.

10. I want to have my own home. And I want it to have a room to serve as my work space. But it’s something that I can’t afford right now. Well, I can afford it but it’s going to be foolish expenses. I can still live with the conditions here at home. And I get to have extra moolah too.

11. If that trip to Pangasinan doesn’t push through, I don’t know if I’ll be happy or sad. I could be happy because I have some extra moolah to spend around. Oh you know me. Lots of things to spend on. Wehehe. Or I may be sad as well because I have been looking forward to this trip for months!

12. I need a new desktop.

13. I love looking at photos of this special event. I guess it’s because I am wishing that one day I will be having that special event. I just feel happy looking at all those happy faces and all those hopes and dreams that these people have.

14. I love it when Professor X and Magneto are best friends. Wehehe.

15. I miss UP. And I miss the kind of energy I had back when I lived there.

16. I am afraid of the distant future because I do not know what is going to happen.

17. You Changed My Life starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo had some really corny lines. Oh those pickup lines like, Bakit V? Para I’m always beside you. (Why V? So that I’m always beside you.) and Mahilig ka talaga sa puzzle. Kasi umaga pa lang, nabuo mo na ang araw ko. (You really like puzzles because even though the day’s still early, you have already made/completed my day.) But you’ll be laughing because of how “well” they are delivered.

18. The Earth Hour was pretty fascinating. The street lights were turned off here in Legazpi City. Though not all participated, it is a good thing knowing that several did join and that number can significantly help in the cause. Dinner by candlelight was fun. Wehehe.

19. I miss playing tongits already!

20. Am I losing him? It’s very possible and I’m preparing for the worst. But I’m sure I’ll be okay in the end. So there.

21. I wish I get better soon.
