Bad Night
I am having a totally bad night. Just when I thought all I had to do was enjoy watching some of my DVDs before I go to sleep, I find out that my computer’s on button was not working. I had to take out all the things connected to it so I could open the CPU. Then I had a hard time taking out the screws that held the CPU close. I then spent some time trying to pry it open.
When the CPU was already open, I was then able to push back the button so I could boot my computer. After I did so, I put back the cover and then tried to put back the screws. It took me several more minutes trying to put the screws in. No, I am not a dumdum when it comes to things like this. What I noticed was that the whole cover is just not properly lined up so putting the screws back in just proved to be very difficult.
What I did next was plug everything in and I had already had my mind set on my DVDs. But I was just disappointed because nothing would show up on my monitor. So I then plugged and unplugged things thinking that I plugged in the wrong cord. But no matter which one I try, nothing still shows up. Argh!
So now I am working on my laptop. I still had to call my ISP’s customer care just to have everything hooked up right. It just doesn’t work right on D, you know. So that’s how I am able to post this one.
When I solve this problem, I sure am making sure that nobody else uses my computer. Call me selfish, I don’t care. It’s not them (read: my mom and my youngest sister) who have to deal with everything that happens when they use my computer wrong.
So there. This is a rant. And I don’t care what you think. It’s just a totally bad night.
