Thoughts On A Silent Sunny Sunday

thinking

It’s Sunday. It’s the first of November. It’s the day everybody here’s not home. It’s the day I get some quiet time and some time to think.

What is really leadership?

I have been thinking about past events and everything I’ve gone through when I was called a ‘leader’. Yeah, being one is both a pain and a privilege. However, it is about using your power the right way. If it is about telling people things to help them produce work better, it is right. If it is about telling them something else so that your own superior will see just how good a ‘leader’ you are, then it definitely is something to think twice about. After all, you should be instilling respect rather than fear. It is a hard thing to do especially if you want results but it definitely is not impossible.

My camera is like me. I think so. See, it needs inspiration. So I need to go somewhere new and find something I haven’t taken photos of yet. That way, both me and my camera end up happy. :)

I hate the fact that the people you consider to be those who would ask you to be there when they are going through something that’s bothering them would not think of you that way. Honestly. So sometimes, it’s like you’d rather go up a stage, pull out a microphone and ask everybody who would think of you that way. That way, you do not expect. And you would not even bother to care.

My book of the month turned out to be books for the month. What I got myself for October were four books – the four books of the Twilight saga (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn). I know I have talked about reading them already before and really sacrificing my eyesight because I was reading ebooks. I am happy now that I have these four in printed versions. And I just love the smell of new books! :) I wonder what I’ll have this month.

It’s the first day of November. Happy November everyone! :)
