Thankful.

Today, I realized that I am more than thankful. I realized that I am lucky. Well, there are things that I am not lucky about but when it comes to my son, I can say that he is pretty lucky. And for that, I am very thankful.

See, today, I realized just how many people want him in their lives. He’s only three years old but he has been bringing a lot of smiles to people. And he has made me feel really proud in more ways than one. With that, I feel really blessed and I thank Him for giving this wonderful boy to me.

From orgmates to friends to former colleagues and to everybody else in between, everybody is willing to spend time with my son. My cousins love taking him out and spending time with him. Family friends just bring him with them on short errands and trips. My colleagues would ask for him or about him. I could leave him with them and be at peace knowing that they’re going to take good care of him. Orgmates and friends back in college ask how he is. My friends take him out to the mall. And today, my friend, his sister, and their father took my son out after church. Aside from them, there’s of course my family who has been giving much of their love and caring for my son without me asking them to.

With that, I am pretty thankful. And that is why I believe my son is lucky. He may not have a father around but he’ll always have lots of ‘fathers’ (and more mothers too) around him who’d be more than willing to guide him. They’ll be better fathers even. Now let’s stop at this because the whole father thing is yet another story (which I am not in the mood to talk about).

To you guys, thank you so much. You do not know how happy I am. *hugs*

Kyky is definitely your pride and joy because he’s such a smart and adorable kid . He is so cuddly and malambing and as I would often say, I wish I could have a clone of him because I always miss being around him nyahahah

You’re indeed so lucky to have a son like him and of course Kyky is lucky to have you as his mamu (naks!)

I guess I’m pretty lucky talaga. Right now, I’m listening to him chatter about shopping and malls while he takes random photos of everything. Hehe.

  5. hi peach! miss you guys! Once again, I missed the fun last christmas reunion. anyway, what’s new with me? hehehe.

btw, i just realized that we are both so blessed for having our kids in our lives, right peach? they are there to uplift our spirit when we’re so down. they are there to brighten our days when gloomy. they are simply there for us to keep going on no matter what obstacles we face. *sigh* i’m holding back my tears now for realizing that God gave Yad and Sky to us to compensate for the losses and downfalls in our lives.

Hope to see you soon, guys! give my regards to talie and others. mwuah! Happy and wealthy new year to us!=)

Hi Jirl, thanks for dropping by. The reunion was fun even though we were quite few in number.

When it comes to our kids, we really are blessed to have them. It’s like they’ve been given to us for a purpose and it’s up to us to realize just what it is. Despite the endless kakulitan and kapasawayan, we still cannot help but be there for them.

I also hope to see you soon. :)
