Manila
Manila has always been a wonderful place for me. It’s not the heat, the traffic jams, the hectic lifestyle, and the dirty surroundings that I see. It’s actually the memories that I have had there. For me, Manila is like a pot of soil where I was able to find myself and which nurtured me. I know it sounds weird but it is.
Fond memories of my days in college is what Manila is all about. And it has been over two years already since I last found my way there. I want to go back there soon because I miss it already. And yes, I miss the friends I have made there.
I have been talking with an orgmate and we were planning on getting together soon. I still have to plan and I still have to check my finances if I’ll be able to do so. See, going to Manila can be quite expensive. I do not go out that much when I am there but it always helps to have some cash on hand.
So right now, I am still pondering if I would be going there. Maybe soon. Maybe it’s going to be the vacation that I need. Maybe. But I really hope to be there. I hope to find myself there soon for just several days.
