What’s Up?
1. I want to take a dip somewhere. I want to go spend time in a pool. I need companions. Anybody wanna join? Your treat. Wehehe.
2. I watched The Sound of Music. Still moves me. And I also totally loved singing along with “How do you handle a problem like Maria…” and “These are a few of my favorite things…”
3. Music and Lyrics has inspired me to write my own songs. I did try writing some songs back in college. I did but was never able to put them right on paper so in the end, I forgot how they sounded. After watching that movie, I took a pen and some paper and tried my luck at writing a stanza. I never got to finish it though. Inspiration. I need it.
4. Our new helper reasons out a lot. When she’s done cooking and washing the dishes, she’s up in her room asleep. And she does this a lot. So if her blood pressure goes up from too much sleep, not our fault. And last weekend, she told me she was going home to visit her son and she’ll be back the following morning. It’s Tuesday already and she’s still not here. Not our loss.
5. Really, I’ve said this tons of times before but I really do need a new desktop already. I’ve done estimates already on how much I will need to get myself a new one and I’m still a long way off to getting one. But I’ll get there. I know I will. Right now, all I’m saying is I’m selling my current desktop. I also am selling my pink Samsung digicam. If you are interested, contact me.
6. I was able to chance upon one of Johnny Depp’s movies on CineMax, Cry Baby. I had a hard time finding a copy of this online and I’m glad I was able to watch it already.
7. I want Dr. House to come take a look at me and tell me if I’m lying. His powers of observation are totally rad! I’m pretty sure he can tell me what’s wrong with me and what else is happening in my life. I can be pretty unobservant and he can tell me the other stuff.
8. Sisig rice at Peranakan at the Albay Astrodome is really great. You should try it.
9. I’ve fallen in love with Serendipity and Dying Young all over again.
10. M&Ms peanuts are my thing right now. And I remember that the last time I was hungry for them was back when I was two months pregnant with Sky. Okayyyy… But no. I’m not.
11. My braces are working really great. It’s been less than a year and the improvement’s really going fast.
12. My friend, Theon, and I were handed tickets to the Mr. And Miss Bikini Open Pageant which was a part of the Magayon Festival. The tickets were from Lindsey who received them as a complimentary from a company they were working with. Anyway, we all did not want to watch the pageant though the tickets cost 500php which were the best seats in the house. What we did instead was we sold tickets right in front of the Albay Astrodome. We were able to sell only 2 for 200 each. Hey, not bad. We did not spend any but we earned some. And we got to drink some beer and eat some tasty chicken at Coco Bongo (Jho and Mike’s stall in the Magayon Festival grounds). Okay. Free advertisement. Wehehe.
13. I went to this computer store and my eyes were really so delighted to see all of those things there. Really, it is not my first time in a computer store but the thing is, if only I could have unlimited financial resources, I’d probably spend a lot in computer shops. Honestly. I could stay there forever. The same feeling goes for libraries and book stores.
14. Christian Siriano of Project Runway’s 4th season has got to be the best that I’ve seen so far. Really. I like his style and his attitude. He’s fierce! Hehe. And yeah. I’m also quite fond of their batch. I hated Season 5 though.
15. My Friends collection is complete! Wahoo!
16. For the first time, Sky slept in my room for the night. Yes. This is the first time that it has happened since he was born. We had slept together before but not in this room. It’s a long story. But I’m just happy that he decided to sleep here.
17. We all gotta watch Super Size Me. Really. It’s scary. I know I’m not your skinny girl but, man, this documentary by Morgan Spurlock is really disturbing! And just when I was craving for fries and burgers.
18. I know I wasn’t able to watch the Eraserheads‘ The Final Set live nor was I able to watch that concert when it was shown on TV. Heck, I don’t care because I got myself a clear copy of that concert and I can watch it over and over again. No commercials! And on my own time.
19. Goya Dark Mint is totally divine. Although it costs around 3php per chocolate piece, it is worth it really. It reminds of the Andes chocolates I’ve been eating when I was a kid.
