Dan Brown readers out there. Do you remember these?

Now before that, I remember. There was a lot of talk about the book Da Vinci Code. This was a novel written by Dan Brown and it is said to be something that people should not read. Well, I remember that there were even some demonstrations of religious groups and some of the leaders had tore pages off the book and burned them. They said that people should not be allowed to read such books.

From my point of view though, I got more interested in the book (and the movie that came after) because of all the protests that were happening here in the Philippines. I don’t remember though if they were also a lot of protests in other countries. But see, I am the person who gets more interested in something once you make a grand issue out of it when it should actually be nothing. And so I got hold of a copy of the book and
have been there when the movie was shown. And yeah. Add to that the fact that I love conspiracies. If there was a conspiracy there, I wanna know about it.

After watching the movie though, I didn’t get to see any change in me. And the issue all died down. And there was nothing much on this Dan Brown story. I guess it is a good example that shows that people do know fact from fiction and they do not easily believe in what movies say.

Anyhow, I am thinking of yet another Dan Brown movie which is soon going to be shown on big screens. This one is Angels and Demons but I don’t think there would be much noise about this one because there is not much on the foundations of religion (and Christianity) here. But because I have loved Dan Brown and his novels, I am thinking that this one would be good. Just in case you don’t know what I am talking about, well, here is the movie:

Anyway, this one is just like Da Vinci Code except that it is set in the Vatican and there is this thing called anti-matter. Just in case you haven’t heard of it, you will when you watch the movie (or read the book, whichever comes first). Tom Hanks still is the star of this film as he plays Robert Langdon. Ayelet Zurer is Vittoria Vetra and Ewan McGregor of the Moulin Rouge fame is Carlo Ventresca. You might wanna watch the trailer as well.

So what about those images that I showed you at the beginning of this post? I know some of you might know the answer already and some may not and may be wondering about them. But yeah. You’ll learn about them in the movie.
