Mac Taylor vs. Gil Grissom vs. Horatio Caine
Mac Taylor (New York), Gil Grissom (Las Vegas), and Horatio Caine (Miami). Who do you choose among these three CSIs?
Who among these three CSI heads do you like? Well, for me, it has always been Mac Taylor *swoons*. If you’re going to let me rank the three, Mac (played by Gary Sinise) goes first, then comes Gil Grissom (William Petersen), and then Horatio Caine (David Caruso). In fact, I don’t think I like Horatio. He’s much too corny for me. I would not even believe in him to be a boss. Unlike Mac who is… well, the kind of person you would think runs crime scene investigation teams.
And then there is Gil Grissom. He is the bug man, as he is popularly called. This is because he is so into bugs. I do like him as a scientist. But as somebody who is out to fight crime, I don’t think he is capable of being part of all the action. He is the kind of guy you would just see working in the office or somewhere that does not involve much physical activity. Unlike Mac who could really run after suspects and who could also handle a gun really well.
I know. I’m so biased here. And you’re probably wondering why I am talking about these three great guys here. The thing is, I have been on a CSI marathon again. I’m, so far, unsuccessful in finding a completed pirated *gasp!* DVD of CSI New York’s fourth season. Right now, I’m watching seasons 6 and 7 of CSI (Las Vegas). My friend is offering to buy me some seasons of CSI: Miami but I would have to say no for the meantime. I still need to set my mind that I would have to stomach watching Horatio Caine talk to people sideview and watch him take on/off those horrid sunglasses.
Oh by the way, Gil Grissom is going to say bye-bye to the show. His character as the lead of the CSI team would be replaced by another character which would be played by Laurence Fishbourne. I have no updates yet regarding the name of this new character but I am interested in finding out how these would all turn out.

Don’t worry, I won’t miss that episode. But yeah, Gil Grissom is really unique yet weird in his own way pero he’s really cool. But Mac is really my kind of CSI. Haha. Scientist na, officer pa din in a way. Kasi it’s because of his military background. I look at Gil like a professor of some sort pero he’s cool especially when he wants to prove something and he talks about it mysteriously. Too bad he’s going to be out of the series though.
Yeah. But then let’s give the “new Gil” a chance. And the “old Gil” will surely be missed if that’s really the case.
I know. It’ll be interesting what kind of character he would have. Plus, it would also be fun to see Gil come back in a couple of episodes.
Nice Peach! I’m a CSI fanatic too. Every Sunday I sleep late ’cause I spend the night watching the 3 CSI. I like CSI Miami and “Mr David Caruso”, the very patient CS investigator. And I like Mac too. I swoon every time I see him, well… he’s old but he still have a charisma. Too bad! Since I got here in manila I missed this season of CSI. I used to do that too Cathy but because I can easily get copies from those *ehem* pirated DVDs, I don’t stay up late na. See, I hate it when I’m left hanging. They have a tendency to do that! :p
I also like CSI New York the best. At present watching season 7 of CSI Las Vegas…
Las Vegas sure is better compared to Miami. CSI New York just tops all of them.

There are plenty of sources of CSI. You can check out eBay. Maybe there are some in your country.
