I Am Betty. Where’s Armando?
Many people have been calling me Betty La Fea. Yeah. Especially that I Love Betty La Fea is now one of the popular TV programs in the country. It stars Bea Alonzo as Betty and John Lloyd Cruz as Armando, Betty’s love interest.

So why am I being called Betty? Well, see, Betty has braces. I’ve got braces. Betty comes with huge spectacles. I’ve got a good pair of glasses on everyday. Betty has bangs. I’ve got ‘em too. Betty comes in really outrageous outfits which commonly have ruffles or ribbons or both. Well, that, I do not wear. And yeah. I am not posting a picture of Betty and a picture of me so you could compare. :p
I don’t care if they call me Betty though. Though most people have connoted Betty to be ugly (compared to her co-workers), I still find her beautiful. And yeah, she becomes pretty in the end and she gets her man. So there. Not a big deal. And it’s not all about the physical looks. She’s pretty sweet and kind. I like that.
I have been watching the show not because I can relate to Betty because I am being called by that name. See, I love the story. It’s fun. It’s light. It shows that there is more to than just being beautiful. And yeah. I love Armando-slash-John Lloyd. I like how he is able to portray his role well. Big deal. And this episode tonight, I think he is already falling in love with Betty! Yahoo! That’s Betty-ful!
So now I am Betty. I just need to find my Armando. Any takers?

Yes Peachy! Somebody must plan for our reunion or else it will not happen. I haven’t heard from our bachmates except from a few friends. Hope to see everyone on December even for a simple gathering, just like what we used to do.
